Verify the final print
Grade a production sample with suitable barcode verification equipment, not only a phone camera.
Create retail barcode artwork from an existing GTIN, calculate or validate its check digit, check nominal GS1 dimensions and export SVG or high-resolution PNG files.

Upload or paste up to 500 GTINs. Valid rows become barcode files; every result is recorded in the manifest.
The generator creates the graphic. It does not issue a GTIN or certify the final print.
Select UPC-A, EAN-13 or EAN-8 for a linear retail barcode, or choose GS1 Digital Link QR for a 2D retail workflow.
Paste a licensed GTIN or enter the data digits. The generator calculates or checks the final check digit and shows the nominal artwork dimensions.
Download SVG or PNG artwork with its quiet zones intact, then verify the barcode on the final printed pack before production.
This tool deliberately focuses on the retail formats packaging teams use most often. Logistics, coupon, pharmaceutical and specialist symbols can require different data and placement rules.

Practical answers about GTINs, GS1 formats, sizing, 2D migration and print verification.
UPC-A is common for retail products in North America, EAN-13 is widely used internationally, and EAN-8 is reserved for small packs when a GTIN-8 has been assigned. Use the format required by your retailer or GS1 Member Organisation.
No. It creates barcode artwork from a number you already have and checks its mathematical check digit. Obtain a licensed GTIN from a GS1 Member Organisation and use Verified by GS1 to check ownership information.
No. This tool checks the encoded data, included quiet zones and nominal dimensions. Final performance also depends on print gain, colours, contrast, material, damage, curvature and placement. Verify the barcode on the final printed packaging with suitable equipment before production.
At 100% magnification, the X-dimension is 0.330 mm and the target bar height is 22.85 mm. GS1 retail guidance allows an X-dimension from 0.264 mm to 0.660 mm for these symbols. Do not stretch width and height independently.
It is a QR Code that encodes a GS1 Digital Link URI. The URI can carry a GTIN and optional attributes such as batch, serial or expiry, while connecting scanners and consumers to online product information.
Follow the requirements of your trading partners and market. During the retail transition, many products will carry both a linear barcode and a 2D barcode until the relevant point-of-sale systems can process 2D data.
Yes. Paste or upload up to 500 GTINs, validate the rows in the browser and download SVG or PNG files in a ZIP with a manifest. Invalid rows are reported and omitted from the generated artwork.
No. Barcode generation, CSV parsing and ZIP creation run in your browser. You enter an email once to unlock downloads, but the GTIN list and generated artwork are not uploaded for processing.
Compare barcode and artwork revisions, collect precise feedback, run packaging artwork checks and keep the approval record together.
