What this mark means
The maple-leaf seal identifies products certified under the Canada Organic Regime. It is an organic claim, not a statement that the ingredients were grown in Canada.

- Confirm the product’s Canada Organic certification and eligibility for the seal.

A detail worth checking
Do not use the maple leaf as evidence of Canadian origin. CFIA supplies the production logo to organic operators through accredited certification bodies.
